Every song has its background story

You need to have a reason to write a song. I mean a good one. Nowadays songs are just full of bullshit. They talk about sex, money, alcohol, clubbing, etc. Beh sien eh meh? Music video also always the same, guys throwing money, sexy girls shake here shake there. Everytime i listen to the radio and it plays a song that has such shitty lyrics and melody. I literally WTF man. WHAT a TOTAL FAILURE! lol.  

I recently wrote a song. It speaks about my suffering in 2011, bcuz it was a shitty year for me. I had skin disease, I went through my medication which caused me to suffer 3 times even worse (its like you are playing DOTA and Venomancer poison damage you x3, lol), I could not sleep properly for around 10 months, I cant bathe properly for 10 months, I failed my marketing paper AND I broke up with my gf. The breaking up with gf part was the one that almost landed me in Tanjung Rambutan. lol. But im fine now. Life is just full of SHIT in 2011 BUT if I do not have Christ in me, I would already committed suicide. 

This reminds me of Job in the Bible. He also kena combo damage by the devil but what did he do? He keep on worshiping God. How on freakin earth can he do that?? I was amazed that he can still worship God after the things that happened in his life. How did he do it? Simple. Its bcause of his relationship with God. In Job 1:1 says that Job was blameless and upright, he feared God and shunned evil. He loved God so much that even when disasters strike in his life, he still worship God. This is what I call a real man la, not some bullshit twilight Jacob Black everytime take off his shirt and all the girls will just LOL (Lust Out Loud) haha. But seriously, when I look at Job’s life I say to myself I wanna be like him. I wanna worship God even if bad things happen to me. Bcuz i know God is faithful no matter what happens, He will never leave me nor forsake me. And if you read at the end of the book of Job, God blessed him kao kao, abundantly. I know that God will pour out His blessings on me as well.

So, this is the song. The title is ‘You’re My Everything’ It says that you can take everything away from me. But you can never take my Jesus away from me. Because He is my living water, my bread of life.

A Picture of Love

One day, my mum and I decided to went down to the coffee shop below our house to have breakfast. We went inside the lift and after it went a few floors down, the lift stopped, opened and I saw one of the most beautiful thing in my life. I saw an elderly couple, possibly in their 70’s, holding hands together and slowly walked into the lift. While the lift was going down, I could not take my eyes of this couple. I do not know about you, but I seldom see couples this old holding hands walking together. You could see the love in their eyes for each other and I believe they have gone through many trials and tribulations together. What a majestic sight! My heart just melted on the spot and I was like ‘Wow! What is the thing that holds them together for so long?’ And I said to myself ‘I wanna be like them when I grow old.’ The lift reached the 3rd floor. The husband slowly leads his wife ‘still holding her hand’ out of the lift and they continued their journey. 

There are many pictures of love. Obviously you can see them in Tumblr or in Facebook. It comes to a point where I am bored of it. Because every picture looks the same. ‘A young couple kissing and hugging in many different styles and postures.’ But the one I saw in the lift was completely different. The one I saw was a true picture of love. 

Throughout these months I have realized lots of things after breaking up in March. I have learned that love is not just about hugging, kissing or even sex. It is not just about the physical affection. BUT ‘love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 I guess I totally miss this part when I had a relationship. The problem with guys is that they sometimes can be so physical when comes to love that they forget about the emotions. 

I told myself that I would changed the way I love my future girlfriend. I am gonna treat her right, with respect, with honour, not be self centered and selfish. And I believe by God’s grace and strength, I would be able to fulfill these promises.

In Time

Just watched this show. Love the movie’s concept on futuristic human world. A barter system involving time. What I dislike are the dialogues can be lame at times and the movie’s climax was not as exciting as I was expecting. BUT……Amanda Seyfried is HOT! Totally different outlook from her previous movies like Mean Girls and Red Riding Hood. With her ‘curtain’ hair and its black in color, she look gorgeous and elegant in every scene in the movie.
